Update Feb. 2013:
I am getting together with Shelly, Debbie, Jane, and maybe a few more on March 9 at the Towne House to talk about our 40th reunion. Where have the years gone? Alex is getting transferred to Philly in 2 weeks, and we are excited about that. Nathan is a junior and looking at colleges. We are too young to be grandparents! Joey D. is fine - we have been married for 28 years!
Update Jan. 2012:
Alex is working as an Account Manager for Amica Mutual Insurance Company in their Southern California branch. She lives in Newport Beach. Nice. Nathan is a sophomore at Strath Haven HS, runs XC, track, and was named the George Slick Arts Fellow for the class of 2014. He is a pianist and composer and will be putting on a concert in June 2013 at the Lang Concert Hall at Swarthmore College.
Joe and I are getting older. Joe fell 25 feet from a ladder a few days after Thanksgiving and got 3 vertebral compression fractures. He is lucky to be alive. He keeps threating to go back up and finish the gutter cleaning, but he better get more life insurance first!
We ran into Wendy Fradley and her family at the William & Mary graduation in May 2010 - both our daughters were graduating. Photo below.
Our reunion story: I was living with Debbie Long in Springfield during our 5 year reunion. Shortly after that, we ran into Joe at the Old State Tavern (is that still there?) Joe and I dated for a short time. Years pass, and the 10 year reunion is approaching. I went to the 10 year reunion looking for him. He had a HUGE beard. Anyway, it worked out and 9 months after the reunion we decided to get married as soon as possible after drinking too much champagne one night. We were married 9 days later. That was 26 years ago. Our daughter, Alex, is William & Mary graduate, and our son Nathan attends Strath Haven High School. Nathan plays basketball at Media Youth Center -formerly known as the Boys Club. Chris Derrick runs the bball program. I have seen Louise Riker there - her son is also playing.
I remember Leo Jordan as Student Council President championing the cause (and winning) of allowing students to smoke outside. Times have changed.
