After searching for many years, I found that Netflix now has Ladybug Ladybug available in video streaming mode:

http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/Ladybug_Ladybug/70147157?trkid=2361637

IMDB it for more information ... it's currently a 6.9 out of 10 rating!

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057242/

For those of us who attended Edgemont Elementary, it's a blast from the past, as that is where this movie was filmed!  The students at the time (1963), including me, were "extras" in a few scenes in the movie ... maybe you can identify some of the faces ... I know I saw several, including Eddie Blosenski, Craig McDaniels, and Lance Ford to name a few.  See the classrooms, playground, and even some of the teachers!

Thank you, Connie for letting me know.

Sorry to announce we've lost another classmate, Phoebe Ann Whitsett. I've posted her obituary on her profile page.

Jamie Puphal Adams passed away Feb. 9th.  I have all these fun memories of our teen years growing up next door to each other - walking to the bus stop, sleepovers, trip to England and Amsterdam with Mr. Friedken, parties, a certain afternoon with wine, and just being friends.  Sad to hear that she is gone.

Happy Birthday Sue. It's great to see pictures of you at the reunion. I wish I could have been there. You look as beautiful as you were when we were at Indian Lane and Penncrest and you have a lovely family. Have a great day.

Happy Birthday!

Debbie

Well, 40 years is creeping up fast. I have not seen any discussion of class of '73 getting together. Are there any plans in the works. Those of us that ventured away will need some lead time to make plans. I look forward to anyone's response.

Blessings to all.

Jeff

Good point, Jeff! Can you believe it will be 40 years in 2013? How did we get to be so old? The last reunion committee did a fabulous job - hopefully they will be up for a repeat performance next year!

OK people, who is going to step up to the plate here? Being hundreds of miles away makes it rather difficult without local assistance. Any of you "locals" willing to go out on a limb and head this up? 2013 is coming up fast!

Funny Jeff, I was just thinking the same thing. I am taking my cat to see Vic Menghetti tonight and I will bring it up with him too!

Hey all,

Not ignoring the inquiries on the 40th.

I've contacted Shelly to let her know I won't be able to be on the commitee this time around and that there are some that are curious about "plans in the making "

Keep it coming and....Maybe step up to the plate to offer up help with the impending landmark!!

Fresh blood....Keeps it fresh!

We're all looking forward to a repeat preformance.

Happy Holidays,

Eric

Joe and I would be willing to help. Just don't tell him that I volunteered him! I will send Shelley a Facebook message.

Shelley Dugan, Jane Whibley, Debbie Barrow and I (and maybe a few others, I'm not sure) are meeting at the Towne House on March 9th at noon to talk about reunion planning. If anyone is in the area and would like to stop by, we would love to see you! And if you have any feelings on when is the best time to have a reunion, post it here!

We have a new Facebook page! Search for Penncrest High School Class of 1973! Between this website and that new page, we hope to reach a lot of classmates!

I just got a call and sad news from my sister Debbie; she just received news from a friend that apparently Tommy Jones has passed away from a massive heart attack…  If anyone has additional information, please drop me a line… Thanks

.

Had a great time at the 40th.  Enjoyed seeing so many of you and catching up.  After looking at the pictures I realized how many of you I missed talking to - I'll try to catch up with you at the next one.

Thanks to all of you that took time to put this event together for us.

I had know Jackie Pride (Enuryan) since second grade at Rose Tree. What a shock to hear she had passed away suddenly in March.

Is there a way to keep Classmate Profiles after a person passes away? I had a few classes with Doug Schenkel; however, I did not really know him. I tried to find his Classmate Profile since I wanted to find out who he was, and all I could find was the In Memory notice. I think our classmates need to be remembered.

Just visited the site. Thanks for all the great 40th reunion photos and see the same eyes and smiles of Penncrest days.  It looked like a party worthy of cross-country travel!
