My best memories are of Joan, Meg and I spending time together. I am so sorry to hear of Joan's death.

Joan was a natural beauty, inside and out. She was a smart, funny and sweet friend. Joanie, Lori and I spent so many great times together. Memories that shape the person you become. I will always cherish them and hold them close to my heart. Learning to drive, junior and senior proms, galavanting Europe, concerts at the Main Point were just a few of those memories. Joan and Lori were stable constants during the uncertainty of the teenage years......true and dear friends.

Just this week Lori and I were able to meet for lunch in Philly. We had such a great time and pledged to find Joan and all be together again. This is not the news we expected and we are deeply saddened.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Joan's family. I pray that she is at peace and knows that her gentle soul was a great support to all who knew her.

Joan McClenahan (Williamson)

I am Joan McClenahan's mother, Joan Williamson. I have received some lovely messages from Joan's friends. She left this area after attending De. University for one year. She went to Co. on a vacation and never lived anywhere else. Joan had many different occupations, but the one she loved best was being a massage therapist. She had offices in Boulder and Denver. We visited one another often and I lived with her a year before she died.
Joan was a special person giving much love to those who knew her....she is missed everyday!

I cannot believe that Joan is gone. I remember always looking for her face to get on the bus on the way to school...and I remember us sharing memories of "rainbow" drill team together. Of course, a lot of you wouldn't know what that is, but Joan and I (and a lot of others!) had so much fun traveling and competing... I just can't believe she is gone. My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family.
